Grand Finale with friends
Hi Y'alls,
We r sad 2 inform u all that our amazing journey is about 2 end 2morro...We r flying home 2 our animalz...2day we had a huge plan ahead of us...We 1st made a quick stop @ Animal Kingdom 1 last time in the morning...We (FINALLY FOUND MR. RAFKFI @ his planet watch)...I had been looking 4 him besides the parades @ AK and Fantasmic...He sure did a good job hiding from me...In 2011, I think I met him @ least 6 or 7 times...Didn't find Stitch or Lilo but found Chip n Dale...Trouble w capital T...So, We started off visiting Rafiki after I met a beautiful hawk who was rehabbing...It was an female but forget her name...Got a photo w her...Very beautiful and daunting task...I was sorta nervous and keeping an eye on Rafiki in case he tried 2 escape...He managed 2 do a 10 minute disappearing act only 2 get a break...Then we went 2 the Safari...The driver was AWFFFFFFFFFFUL...She was so boring...The other drivers sound very engaging and experts...This driver was so awful and not engaging...She said, On your right we have a zebra with wildebeests...Our other driver on day 1 was so peppy and engaging that she said, Hey guyz, u want get your cameras out cuz we have a beautiful once in a lifetime chance 2 c 2 animals co-exist...Then when we had the old bridge, she said, U may want hold on tight...We have a bumpy ride...The other boring driver said, Oh, the old bridge, Let's cross it...That really annoyed me and ruined my last Safari...Erika loved the lady...She said it taught her stuff...I liked Sarah, our 1st day Safari driver...Anywhoo, just my opinion...Then we went 2 c Donald, Baloo, King Louie, and the trouble makers...We had 1 hr and 25 minutes b4 Lion King which, we sat 1st row...This time, the fire guy came out...Loved it...I love the monkeys...
Then we went 2 say time out, what time is it and it was 2:25...I told E we needed 2 b @ MK b4 the 3pm parade which, sadly we missed...Ughhh! So, when we arrived @ MK, it was really time 2 party like it was 1999...I planned 2 meet up 2 my 2 best friends Tommy Des Brisay and Brent Dodge...Tommy and I talk 24/7 on fb&skype everyday but never met in person...Tommy has Autism and has a Utube ch called Lookyus...So, I was reallllly stoked 2 meet Tommy...So, during AK trip, I was talkin with his mom and we hatched out a plan...Then they made a last minute switch of the plans, and we finally met @ 4:45...I saved the Tommy shirt 4 that day only...So, 4:40, my phone lights up and on facebook messenger, I saw Maryann his mom say, We're here...Getting off the monorail...What's your location??? I replied @ the front entrance by City Hall...I'm wearing the Tommy shirt, red wheelchair, by the water fountain...I'm on the lookout...Then I see Tommy and his dad start 2 go pass me, and I gave them the wave signal...They came and we officially met...We talked alot...Got a new tshirt called ASH HAPPENS? Then we made our trekk over 2 the card area 4 tommy...Then we talked some more then went 2 c talking Mickey...I already met him earlier but 1st with tommy and family...It was so kool...Then we said goodbye 2 Mickey and headed 2 the castle b4 Tommy had 2 do a quick detour @ the afternoon show...Brent messaged us saying he was @ tomorrowland...The funniest thing is when we were leaving talking Mickey, I thought I saw Brent walk by but wasn't 100% sure...It happened fast...I thought saw him then I lost him...Maryann facebooked him saying, Change of plans, we r headed 2 c Ariel...Meet us @ the Grotto...10 min later, Brent says, 10-4, I'm on the move...
We arrived @ the Grotto and out of nowhere, Brent comes and meets us...Tommy and Brent try 2 meet when Tommy comes 2 WDW...It was my 1st time meeting Brent...Brent is a Disney master and author...So we made our way 2 the Grotto 2 see it was a 15 min wait...We made a detour 2 Under the Sea ride...We thought, we could do Ariel 1st then do the ride but we did it backwards...Ride then Ariel...So I got 2 ride w Brent...Tommy rode w his parents and Eerika...It was my honor...Then we visited Ariel...She was beautiful...The only bad thing I didn't like is her yellow lights...They were wicked bright, and sorta screwed up both cameras...My video came out too bright...My photos came out too yellow...Then we went 2 Yo-Ho Pirates of the Caribbean...Sat 2nd row w Brent and Tommy...Brent had 2 help me in and out...Brent also wanted 2 toss me overboard before we set sail...This time, I stayed dry with a few sprinkles on my leg...Compared 2 1st trip down, I got drenched...We all solved the mystery...DO NOT SIT 1ST ROW 2 THE LEFT...Sit 2nd row, find big bodies like Brent, and sit 2 the right...We also had Tommy's helper dog Adele, and she was the 1 that got drenched...Erika managed 2 stay half dry...
Then we did the Haunted Mansion which started off hilarious with Tommy...So, we were in the Mansion when this lovely doorman asked Tommy if he was a Pirate, Tommy quickly yelled, NO, SHUTUP...I'M A PRINCE...Luckily every1 else moved out of the welcoming room so it was just the 6 of us...We all apologized 2 him...He was laughing and told us that he was in school learning Autism...We felt better knowing this guy was learning autism...So, we made our way 2 the other half of the mansion and onto the ride...This time, Tommy, Brent and I squeezed in this buggy w Adele on the floor...I was sorta squished...But managed a little sideways...We all got off, and I had Welcome Foolish Mortals stuck in my head the rest of the night...Maryann had dinner waiting @ the Grand Floridan @ 7:50 w Tommy and Peter and asked Erika and I if we wanted 2 join them...I had a choice of seeing Wishes or hang w Tommy...We said Yes, we will join ya...So, the 6 of us hopped on the Monorail and sadly, Brent had 2 hop off @ his stop...I was very glad 2 meet Brent...Hopefully on my next adventure, we meet again...Then we 5 of us hopped off @ the Grand Floridan 4 a grand awesomely dinner...Met characters from Cinderella minus Fairly Godmother or the mice...Got photo with the extended family w Tommy...@ 11, We said bye 2 tommy and his parents...I really felt honored 2 have met Tommy and his parents...Yay! Got on the bus 2 our hotel and we said, UGHHH...WE WILL B HOME 2MORRO...
Overall, the grand finale day/night w Brent and Tommy was very special...Those 2 r my idols and hopefully, we meet again as the 6 of us...
Thanks Tommy, Maryann, Peter, Adele and Brent 4 meeting Erika and I yesterday...We had a blast! As Mickey would say, SEEEEEE YAAAAAA REAAAAAL SOON!
